Guest Lectures

It has been a trend at SAIM to invite leaders and experts to deliver a lecture to share their real life experience with the students and give them the real view of business and management problem in Nepal.

1. Female entrepreneurs came from Daraz deliver a talk on women empowerment. They discussed on the challenges of doing business in the context of Nepal and challenges of being a woman entrepreneur.
2. Mr. Parthasarathi Ganguly came to SAIM to deliver the talk on Leadership. He is an Educator, Trainer and Management Consultant and Ex. President of HSBC Bank of India.
3. Mr. Marcos Mendez Sanguos from UNICEF ROSA came to interact SAIM students on the topic sociocultural barriers to apply/get jobs on May 13, 2019.
4. Guest Lecture on Marketing by the Marketing Personal from Unilever Nepal Limited on September 25, 2018.  
5. Breast cancer awareness program for the student of SAIM on 3^rd October 2018.
6. eSewa Fonepay Pvt. Limited came to SAIM for interactive session on the entrepreneurship journey and ecommerce effectiveness in Nepal hosted by the CEO of eSewa Asgar Ali.

22. Ms. Virginia Littlejohn delivered a lecture on the topic “Entrepreneurship Development” on January 23, 2008.Virginia Littlejohn is CEO and Co-Founder of Quantum Leaps and Chairman of Trade Builders, Inc.
23. Prof Niren Vyas delivered a  lecture on the topic – "Teaching Beyond Text Books" on March 31, 2007. Prof Vyas is a professor of marketing at the Business School in University of South Carolina where he also served as dean from 1994 to 2003. He was a visiting Fulbright Professor to Kathmandu University. Prof Vyas has written and published many articles in leading journals and holds a PhD in Marketing/Finance.  
24. Mr. Binod K Choudhary, President and Managing Director of Chaudhary Group and President of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries shared his experience with SAIM students on  July 07, 2007.
25. Mr. Rathin Sanyal delived a talk in the area of marketing on  June 28, 2007. Mr. Sanyal was the Country Manager for Nepal at Glaxo SmithKline Consumer Health Care Ltd.
26. Mr. Jagan Nath Maharjan, Managing Director, Khajuri Enterprises delivered a lecture on "Entrepreneurship and Family Business Management" on September 10, Wednesday, 2008
27. September 16, 2008. Hyun H. Son is Economist in the Economic Anlaysis and Operations Support Division of the Economics and Research Department, Asian Development Bank.
28. Hyun H. Son, Economist Economic and Research Department Asian Development Bank delivered a talk on “Has Inflation Hurt the Poor”.
29. Anthony S. Chan, PhD delivered a talk on "Global Financial Crisis". He is a Deputy Director, USAID NepalMr. Ravi Kumar Swaminathan delivered a talk on” The Global Financial Crisis: A Banker’s Perspective”.
30. Dr. Bishnu Poudel delivered a talk on "Global Leadership in Business" on November 19, , 2008.
31. Mr. Anil Shah, Managing Director, Nabil Bank delivered a lecture on"Leadership" on January 19, 2009
32. Prof. Philip E. Juico delivered a lecture on “Overview on Business Education Philosophy” to the students of SAIM.Prof. Philip E. Juico is Dean of Ramon V. del Rosario Sr. Graduate School of Business, De La Salle Professional Schools, Philippines He was also a former Minister for Land Reforms of Philippines and the Chairman of Philippines Sports Commission.
33. Haresh P. Patel delivered a talk on “Hi Tech Enterprise Sales and Marketing Oveview, Trends and Approaches” to the students of SAIM on February 27, 2008.Mr Patel had over 22 year of experience in the semiconductor industry. He was appointed to senior vice president of sales and marketing of WJ Communications in October 2005.
34. Washington delegate – Gene George, delivered a lecture on –“Career Planning” to the students of SAIM on Friday2009.
35. Prof. Niren Vyas delivered a lecture on the topic "Teaching & Learning beyond Text Books" at SAIM on Saturday, March 31, 2007.  Prof Vyas is a professor of marketing at the Business School in University of South Carolina where he also served as dean from 1994 to 2003.
36. Dr. Bindu Lohani delivered a talk on the topic “Investment and Development: the Crisis and Beyond” on May 15, 2009. He is the Vice-president (Finance and Administration) in the Asian Development Bank. Dr. Lohani is associated with ADB for last 25 years and has served the bank in different capacities including Director General of ADB’s Regional and Sustainable Development Department.
37. Prof. Pradumna Rana delivered a lecture on Asian Values on July 2, 2007. He is an Adjunct professor at Nanyang technical University, Singapore. He was also a senior economist at the Asian Development Bank.
38. Prof. Alfred Rosenbloom delivered a lecture in the area of Marketing on May 14, 2007. he is an associate marketing professor at Graham School of Management, St Xavier University, Chicago.
39. Dr. Dacvid Dunn, Professor of Marketing, University of Toronto, Canada delivered a lecture on Marketing on October 26, 2009. he has a long experience in teaching marketing and undertaken many research works in this field.
40. Mr Ranjit Acharya, CEO of Prisma Advertising delivered a talk program on the topic “ Tips for Career Planning and Development”
41. Mr. Sujit Mundul, CEO, Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd delivered a lecture on "The use of Du Pont Analysis" on Dec 07, 2007.
