Meeting with the Award Global team - valuable opportunity for meaningful discussions and collaboration.

The recent visit of Tony Lam, Managing Director of Award Global Australia, to SAIM College marked a significant event for both the institution and the organization. During the visit, Mr. Lam ,with Samir Shrestha, Head of HR, met with key members of the SAIM College leadership team, including Principal Ashok Raj Pandey, Faculty Pradeep Raj Pandey, and Academic Head Sabina Tuladhar.

The discussions focused on potential collaborations, vocational programs, and partnerships aimed at providing real-world exposure to SAIM students. A major highlight of the visit was the offering of a traineeship program at Award Global’s Nepal office for potential SAIM students, providing them with valuable hands-on experience in the industry.

Tony Lam expressed his admiration for the positive atmosphere at SAIM College and shared his excitement about future collaborations. He noted that the visit reinforced the core values of SAIM, and he is looking forward to forging strong partnerships in the future, furthering the shared goal of nurturing talented, globally competitive professionals.

ETAs Interaction Session

On April 1st, 2025, SAIM organized an insightful interaction session for MBA students with English Teaching Assistants, Fulbright Grantees from the United States, titled "My Classroom, My World." The session proved to be highly beneficial, as it allowed SAIM MBA students to gain a deeper understanding of the significance of cultural intelligence. In today’s rapidly evolving and VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous) world, cultural intelligence has emerged as a crucial skill. The students were able to explore how this knowledge can empower them to navigate diverse environments and effectively engage in global contexts.

An innovative course on Public Policy

SAIM College’s Capacity Building and Academic Head jointly facilitated a highly participative and insightful interaction session on public policy management – gaps and proposed strategies. Resource persons for the session included Dr Baikuntha Aryal, former Chief Secretary with years of implementation experience and Dr Sucheta Pyakurel, a seasoned faculty and consultant on public policy. Invitees from government agencies and those leading state-owned enterprises (SOEs) have expressed their appreciation of the session. SAIM is thankful to the support from the Board Members, its senior faculty and the preparatory support by its student volunteers Ravindra Yadav and Purushottam Mallick.
